These two skills have made me a LOT of money...

Hey friends!

You might not know this about me, but my YouTube channel, Your Friend Andy, is NOT my first YouTube channel.

I had a movie review and video essay channel before that… but I didn’t show my face.

Eventually, I realized that the channel wasn’t going to be a big money-maker.

But I was already hooked on YouTube, so I wanted to try again.

This time sharing another passion of mine. Personal Finance.

However, two things stopped me for almost 2 years before I finally started my current channel:

1) Putting myself out there in front of the camera

2) The fear that it would fail and all be for nothing

Well, fast forward to today. My YouTube channel is 3 years old and has replaced my previous full-time job.

And I can say with full certainty that it was how I reacted to those two things that made all the difference.

1) If you can put yourself out there, you open yourself up to incredible opportunities. It’s scary but totally worth it.

2) If you can convince your brain that failure is okay and just a chance to learn, then you can run headfirst into new opportunities knowing that if it doesn’t work out… you can just try again.

This advice isn’t just for someone thinking about starting a YouTube channel (but if you are… DO IT).

This advice is for anyone who has an idea in their head but they just haven’t been able to start it yet.

So, if that’s you, AND if you are still reading. Then here is a challenge:

This weekend/next week, do ONE thing to move yourself closer to that goal or dream in your head. Just ONE thing. And see how that feels.
