How to become a crypto millionaire in 2025

It’s not too late to become a crypto millionaire—but you need to act now. With the crypto bull run already heating up, I want to share how I’d approach turning a relatively small investment into life-changing wealth.

Why listen to me? I became a millionaire in my 30s, a crypto millionaire shortly after, and now I’m a multi-millionaire. Crypto has been the single biggest driver of my success, and while this isn’t a guaranteed formula, it’s a strategy that’s worked for me—and could work for you.

Step 1: Find Early and Undervalued Coins
The key to becoming a crypto millionaire lies in identifying high-potential coins and tokens before the masses catch on. Finding these opportunities isn’t easy. Here’s where I look:

• Scour communities

• Read YouTube comments under your favorite creator’s videos

• Read Twitter replies

• Check platforms like Bitcointalk for hidden gems (there is a lot of noise though).

  You’d be surprised how much good alpha you can find just by looking through YouTube to Twitter comments under your favorite influencers’ posts. When looking for projects, I focus on ones that could potentially 25-50X or more.

This is what I look for when I find interesting projects:

• Evaluate The Teams: Research the people behind a project.

• Check GitHub Activity: A vibrant development community is a great sign.

• Look for Fair Launches: Avoid coins that heavily favor early insiders.

• Trust Your Gut: Sometimes, experience leads to instincts.

Step 2: Invest Like a Poor Man’s Venture Capitalist
As a venture capitalist (VC), you’ll see countless pitches, invest in a few, and accept that most will fail. In crypto, I take the same approach:

• Spread Small Investments: Allocate $500-$1,000 chunks across multiple projects.

• Expect Failure: Most investments won’t pan out, but the few that succeed can skyrocket.

• Hunt for Unicorns: A “unicorn” is a project that multiplies your investment many times over.

• Take profits: If you find a unicorn, make sure you capitalize on your finding.

By diversifying like this, you don’t need every investment to work out—just a few big wins to transform your portfolio.

Step 3: Really Want It
This journey isn’t for the half-hearted. You have to actually want it. Wanting it means making sacrifices:

• Time: Dedicate yourself to research and strategy.

• Budget: Cut unnecessary expenses to free up funds for investment.

• Patience: Wealth doesn’t happen overnight. Be willing to stick with it—even across cycles.

Most people think they want it, but they don’t really. They go through all this half-hearted. You won’t win with that attitude. Crypto is too cut-throat. You also need an open mind. Many game-changing projects were initially dismissed as scams. Learn from the past, but don’t let it define your future.

Step 4: Earn More to Invest More
If you’re serious, you’ll need to constantly feed your investments with more capital:

• Start small. I began with $100-$200 a month.

• Earn more money by doing side hustles, selling stuff in your house you don’t need, or getting an extra job to accelerate your progress.

• Consistently reinvest. Treat this like your lifeline—ask yourself daily, “How can I earn more to invest right now?”

• It’s very unlikely you will make life-changing money in crypto by putting a chunk of money in just once and never repeating.

Step 5: Build a Passive Loop
My strategy involves reinvesting crypto passive income:

1. Earn money actively (with a job and/or hustle) and invest that money.

2. Use those investments to create passive income.

3. Reinvest that passive income to generate even more returns.

This cycle creates exponential growth over time. My goal was $100K/year in passive income, and I built it by following this exact loop. Now I make several times that amount with crypto passive income.
