1) Grass

I’ve talked about Grass in videos and newsletters previously. It’s a browser extension that utilizes extra internet bandwidth for future AI applications. I’ve been running the extension for months now, but I had no idea how much it would actually earn at the time. Well, they finally did their first airdrop last month. Members of my club earned anywhere from $100 to over $1000 from this free airdrop.

All you have to do is sign up, download the extension, and you are done. You can also run a Grass node to earn extra. The important part is that it’s completely free and hands-off once you set it up. Gradient is very similar to Grass. Instead of data it’s focused on compute. It’s also a free browser extension. It JUST launched, so getting in now, is getting in early. Much like Grass, I have no idea if it will amount to anything or not. There are no airdrop details announced yet. But if you end up earning $100-$1000 in extra money from a browser extension that runs in the background, this one is worth checking out.

3) Silencio

Silencio is an app that collects noise data. You install the app on your phone and then collect noise data from wherever you are. They use this data to map noise pollution. The data is valuable and they reward you for it with points. They will soon have their TGE (token generation event) and the points will convert to their tokens. This will happen in the next few months, so there is still time to sign up, collect noise data, invite your friends, and earn money with the airdrop. I have no idea how much you could make with this since we won’t find out for a few months, but it’s a very promising crypto project.

4) Natix

Natix is a camera app. You run the app on your phone (or an extra phone) while you drive, ride a bike, etc. The app collects traffic data, sign information, and more. You just need to mount your phone near your windshield and point the camera out. You can use something like this or this to mount your phone.

Right now you’re likely only going to earn $5-20 a month for running the app. However, keep in mind it’s free, hands-off while you drive, AND if the token does well in the bull run, those earnings could look more like $50 to $200 a month or more if you hold your tokens.
